Hopeless opening times and very, very small. The one time I've been there and it's been open, the cashier (yes, singular) was very helpful and I managed to get my transaction done with no hassle, but as it's so small there was quite a long wait to see her.

On Friday I felt unwell and rang the surgery, almost immediately a doctor rang me back and invited me to come into the surgery. I was seen by a 5th year student doctor, under the guidance of my regular doctor. I cannot fault the care and attention that I received. The student was extremely thorough, and as he was overseen by the doctor I was very confident. I was at the surgery for well over an hour and feel I received the very best attention, with a follow up appointment in 2 weeks time. Gold stars all round for all staff that dealt with me.

In December I wrote: Modern practice at Riverside, mostly calm under pressure. Too often you have to book too far ahead but urgent cases have been handled well from what other patients tell me. Since then, improvements have been made to the booking system (excellent online too) and apparently the ability to book appointments at quite short notice. Queries made to Reception have been responded to mostly quickly and comprehensively. Credit where it’s due.

Beautiful location on the edge of the moors. A warming church and lovely vicar.

So friendly. Our BB/GB companies, camping at Broadleas, received a wonderful, warm welcome from the people there. Exceptional fellowship, and a wonderful service, led by Margie Wilson, and great to meet Ivy, 104 years young.

Lovely and very tasty food, keen prices and excellent service even at busy times, never disappointed in close on THIRTY years!!!! Still the best takeaway food in Bovey!

My son has been at Little Acorns since September 2015 when he had just turned 2 years old. I cannot praise the staff highly enough over the past two years of him attending. He has loved every day and seeing his personality and development skills blossom with the Montessori teaching methods in such a nurturing environment has been a joy. Little Acorns offer the perfect combination of structure and play that I believe gives children the confidence needed ready for their next stage in education.

I cannot recommend Little Acorns preschool highly enough. My daughter began attending in January 2017 and settled in very quickly. It is clear that she really enjoys her time there, she speaks fondly about staff, other children and the different activities they do. As a parent I have had excellent communication from the staff. My son will also be attending there when he turns two years old.

Great experience for the kids, with outdoor nature garden and acres of green space

My son has been at this preschool for a little over a year. It's amazing. The staff, facilities, lessons etc are just brilliant. My son has learnt so much and his confidence is sky high. There's talk of it closing down due to it not making enough profit. My son will be devastated. My daughter is due to go there when she's old enough. I'm truly gutted that it might be closing as all other preschools just don't come close.

Very very good lovely teachers very good lessons and very good play and play ground resources as well!
